REFIN GmbH is a private investment company based in Vienna, active between Europe and Asia. Founded in 1998 and owner-managed ever since, it invests its own capital in properties, small businesses and operating projects — and executes them entrepreneurially.
Since 2002, the company has been led by Peter Lanske as Managing Director, which has given it a rare thing in business: continuity.
Over more than two decades, REFIN has started, developed or partnered in real estate, hospitality and investment projects across Europe and Southeast Asia. Partners came and went over the years. REFIN stayed the anchor, providing structure, financing, vision and long-term management. Every project was carried forward under the same idea: high-quality development with a long planning horizon.
Today REFIN owns and lets selected properties in Austria and Thailand, invests in small businesses and promising ventures, and operates its own hospitality and lifestyle projects on Koh Samui. It expands selectively — where the business model is understood and REFIN can actively add value through capital, network, property expertise, brand or hands-on involvement.
